About Monitoring a Directory for XML Files

This feature requires a Premium service plan account and DAZzle Professional.

You can set DAZzle to monitor a specified directory for XML files. DAZzle can automatically read and process the instructions contained in those XML files. For example, an XML file can instruct DAZzle to perform addresses verification or label printing.

You can also specify how often DAZzle monitors that directory. The default value is 30 seconds. The minimum is 6 seconds.

For example, if you have another application that generates XML files (such as an order entry system), DAZzle—while running in the background—automatically detects any new XML files that the other application created and placed in the specified directory.
